Brain-Machine Interfaces

That’s right, Brain-Machine Interfaces are being developed in an effort to create better prosthetics. Sounds pretty hi-tech, but French and Japanese researchers from the CNRS-AIST Joint Robotics Laboratory have been working on. The researchers recently showed how a person, wearing a cap with electrodes, could control a HRP-2 humanoid and make it perform tasks such as grasping objects. Now the entire concept behind “using the force” can take on a whole new meaning. Imagine the possibilities here… pretty much endless we’d say.
