Kinetic Rain

Check out this amazing installation at Singapore’s Changi Airport. Now we just need an excuse to get out to Singapore to see this thing in action. Sure the video does it some justice, but with 608 copper-plated droplets suspended from the ceiling of the airport, it must be something to see. The computer controlled motors in the ceiling suspend and lower the droplets to make up various shapes and patterns during a 15 minute display. We’re just hoping to get our hands on it so we can make it do an interpretive dance to Milli Vanilli’s “Blame It On The Rain”.
